Hazardous Area Works

In electrical engineering, hazardous areas are defined as places where fire or explosion hazards may exist due to flammable gases, vapours, dusts or fibres being present in the air in sufficient quantities to produce flammable or explosive mixtures.

Our highly trained and experienced ‘CompEx’ certified engineers, electricians and technicians have specialised expertise in hazardous area installation, inspection and testing.

We understand that many companies do not have the necessary understanding or in-house expertise to ensure hazardous area electrical inspection compliance with the workplace directive ATEX 137 and DSEAR (The Dangerous Substances and Explosive Atmospheres Regulation) which address safety where there is a danger from potentially explosive materials.
